年始に投稿した論文の査読結果が帰ってきた
Although the present manuscript cannot be accepted, the Editor has indicated that the topic of your research is of interest to the journal, and you are encouraged to consider a new submission in due course, incorporating all the suggestions of the referees with additional data or analysis. Any such resubmission would be considered a completely new manuscript, with a new receipt date, and subject to the full peer review process, not necessarily involving the same referees.
「Acceptはできないが、再投稿してもいいよ」というのがよくわからなくて先生に聞いてみたところ
最近の論文は、投稿・査読・受理の履歴が出る
編集側としては、投稿→受理がスムーズな方が評判を高めるので望ましい
なので、Major revisionを出して投稿→受理が間延びするよりは、再投稿にさせたい
とのことで、そんなにネガティブではない
担当エディタは好意的、査読者#1もまぁ好意的、査読者#2がやや微妙
再投稿だと「再検討したけど、やっぱりrejectだね」も当然ありで、悩ましい
